This lot is a mix of SL28 and SL34 varieties, grown by smallholder producers at high elevation in fertile volcanic soil - where rich minerals and steady rainfall create ideal conditions for slow, even cherry development.
Like most coffees from Kenya, its fully washed – fermented for up to two days, washed clean and dried slowly on raised beds.
The result is a cup that’s vibrant and fruit-driven, with the clarity and citrus sweetness that define coffees from this region.
