Stumpastaken is a real design classic. It was designed by Jonas Torstensson in 1991.

All Stumpastakes are made in Sweden from 100 % recycled aluminum.

The idea with this candleholder is to never throw any end stumps away, instead save them and burn them safely all the way down in this clever candleholder.

Caretaking advice: Raw aluminium should not come in contact with water it will stain the surface. Cleaning is best made in the oven:Peel away the loose wax without scraping the surface. Heat your oven to 60 degrees C and place your candle holder upside down on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Prop it up a little bit with for example small pieces of cork. Let it stay in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, then use an oven glove to take it out (it is hot) and wipe off with a paper towel. If necessary repeat the procedure.
