Sketch Candlestick - S

Part of the Carte Blanche collection by Annebet Philips for Serax, this porcelain candlestick captures the energy of a first sketch translated into material form.

The process began with a cardboard cutout; the fold lines and irregular edges of that prototype were kept and are accentuated with hand-painted black contour lines.

Hand-painted irregular contour lines outline each facet across the entire exterior.
